چکیده
One of the important factors influencing environment is agro-industrial production, mainly agriculture, which most characterized by physical and agrochemical degradation soil cover Ukraine, expressed in loss humus essential nutrients. The threatening process humus, content over past 20 years has decreased an average 0.22% absolute terms, balance negative. phosphorus-potassium regime soils deteriorates every year. In absence almost complete liming soils, area acid increases annually, currently amounts to 9.5 million hectares. addition, article focuses on risks arising from human agricultural activities — use chemicals fertilize crops, protect crops weeds, pests diseases contain toxic substances that adversely affect agroecosystem, eventually trophic chains enter body cause various diseases. significant environmental regions were exposed radionuclide pollution as a result Chernobyl accident, contamination forest gifts with radionuclides. Large livestock complexes are objects increased danger. As violation technology keeping animals storing waste (manure, liquid secretions) nitrogen, phosphorus other nutrients get into surface waters, pollute them damage wetlands coastal ecosystems. addition industrial rural population also grows mostly fruits vegetables their own plots for needs. There many residential areas pose risks, namely: high density domestic poultry small farms, causes violations them, manure storage technology, growing crops; inconsistency placement farm buildings land; system fertilization protection factors, sources drinking water territory personal households have been identified: toilets, manures, compost pits, barns, garbage dumps, located close proximity supply source, does not meet minimum sanitary breaks buildings.

Identifying and mitigating risks for agricultural injury associated with obesity
In some occupational contexts overweight and obesity have been identified as risk factors for injury. The purpose of this study was to examine this hypothesis within farm work environments and then to identify specific opportunities for environmental modification as a preventive strategy. Data on farm-related injuries, height and weight used to calculate body mass index (BMI), and demographic c...
متن کاملAgricultural, socioeconomic and environmental variables as risks for human verotoxigenic Escherichia coli (VTEC) infection in Finland
BACKGROUND Verotoxigenic E. coli (VTEC) is the cause of severe gastrointestinal infection especially among infants. Between 10 and 20 cases are reported annually to the National Infectious Disease Register (NIDR) in Finland. The aim of this study was to identify explanatory variables for VTEC infections reported to the NIDR in Finland between 1997 and 2006. We applied a hurdle model, applicable...
متن کاملHuman and environmental health risks and benefits associated with use of urban stormwater
For stormwater harvesting to achieve its full potential in mitigating water scarcity problems and restoring stream health, it is necessary to evaluate the human and environmental health risks and benefits associated with it. Stormwater harbors large amounts of pollutants and has traditionally been viewed as a leading cause of water-quality degradation of receivingwaters. Harvesting stormwater f...
